Managing Your Invoicing (and Time) with Freshbooks

I’ll admit that I’m always struggling with invoice/accounting/time tracking and I’ve been trying to get a handle on it with various tools, services and even paper.  In yet another attempt to get the business side of my business organized and manageable I’m working with Freshbooks.com (referral link).

It’s an online service for invoicing, time and expense tracking and client management which so far has been pretty slick. I’m using the 3-client/1-user free account with eyes on the $19/month 25-client/1-user account… if needed. I’ve issued a couple of invoices and requested feedback from my clients since it sends them to a customized site for printing, pdf creation and optional online payment. The customization options are pretty extensive so I’m hoping that any issues they report can be fixed that way.

So far my clients have really liked it.  I’ll keep you posted.

I’ve used Freshbooks several times when I needed a quick one-off invoice. I guess I need to take another look at it, and see what’s new.

It’s worth a revisit. My clients have been happy with their experience and so far I’m lovin’ it.

There is a time tracking pop-up that now sits on my desktop to help me sty on task and track actual billable and non-billable hours.
